Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-117: Cannot launch a browser. MGM uses the default browser to display the online help. If you want to use a specific browser to launch MGM online help, make the default browser for your workstation “javascript:scrollTo(0,3400) Scroll down to Save Issue.

Recommended Action Check your $PATH variable and make sure that “netscape” is included in the PATH. Also run the netscape command from your command prompt and make sure that the browser comes up.

Error Message EID-118: Your password has been set by the administrator. You need to set a new password. Do you want to continue?

Recommended Action Continue setting a new password.

Error Message EID-120: This session has logged out. MGM client will be closed.

Recommended Action The logout timer has logged you out of this session. Log back into Cisco MGM client and modify client inactivity timer settings in Control Panel > Security Properties.

Error Message EID-121: Client application cannot be restarted because the required port is not available.

Recommended Action Restart Cisco MGM client.

Error Message EID-126: The table view has changed. You must refresh the table before performing this operation.

Recommended Action Click the Refresh Data tool.

Error Message EID-127: An error occurred while scheduling the SNTP configuration.

Recommended Action Error occurred while scheduling Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP). Try performing the task again.

Error Message EID-130: Cannot authenticate user. Try again.

Recommended Action Enter your username and password and retry.

Error Message EID-131: Cannot connect to the specified EMS server. Check IP connectivity and try again.

Recommended Action Ping the server workstation to see if you have IP connectivity. If there is no connectivity, contact the administrator to verify that connectivity is established.
