Cisco MGM Server Error Messages
Error Message EID-2086: Exception: value occurred while reading the
ons15454-callback-iiop-listen-port parameter value from the MGMServer.cfg file.
Recommended Action If you are having operational problems, contact Cisco technical support with
this error message. Otherwise, ignore this error message; no action is required.
Error Message EID-2104: Exception string occurred while adding discovered NE with IP
address IP_address.
Recommended Action Exception needs to be analyzed. Contact Cisco technical support.
Error Message EID-2105: Adding operation for discovered NE with IP address IP_address
not completed.
Recommended Action Exception needs to be analyzed. Contact Cisco technical support.
Error Message EID-2200: Software download operation failed on NE ID.
Recommended Action Retry the download operation. The cause of the software download operation
failure is unknown.
Error Message EID-2202: Software download operation failed on NE ID because of a
Flash read/write problem.
Recommended Action The agent version transfer from the master Control and Monitoring Processor
(CMP) to the slave CMP has failed. Use the following procedure to correct the error:
Step 1 Check the configuration of the master and slave CMPs.
Step 2 Check the status of the network between the master CMP and the slave CMP and verify that the CMP
slaves are reachable.
Error Message EID-2203: Software download operation failed on NE ID because of a
problem during transfer from the TFTP server to the Master CMP.
Recommended Action Transfer from the TFTP boot server to the master CMP has failed. Use the
following procedure to correct the error:
Step 1 Verify that the TFTP boot server is running.
Step 2 Verify that the TFTP server address is correct.
Step 3 Check the status of the network between the TFTP server and the master CMP.
Step 4 Verify that the path name that lists where the catalog.txt file is located is correct.
Step 5 Verify that all files listed in the catalog.txt file are present in the same directory that contains the
catalog.txt file.
