Cisco MGM Server Error Messages

Error Message EID-2082: Exception: value occurred while reading snmp-trap-queue-size parameter value from the MGMServer.cfg file.

Recommended Action Check the MGMServer.cfg file for possible corruption. If the problem persists, contact Cisco technical support with this error message.

Error Message EID-2084: Exception: value occurred while reading snmp-trap-forwarding-port parameter value from the MGMServer.cfg file.

Recommended Action Check the MGMServer.cfg file for possible corruption. If the problem persists, contact Cisco technical support with this error message.

Error Message EID-2089: InitialPoll to NE: string is failed, maybe username and password are wrong or string.

Recommended Action Verify that the NE is up and that the software loaded on the NE is supported. Wait for two or three polling cycles. If the problem persists, mark the NE as out of service and then back in service.

Error Message EID-2090: Connection with NE: string is lost because string.

Recommended Action This problem can occur if the NE is reset or if the NE is not reachable on the network. Wait for two or three polling cycles. If the problem persists, mark the NE as out of service and then back in service.

Error Message EID-2091: HTTP request failed to get software version from node string and reason is string.

Recommended Action Obtain the NE software version with a web browser using the URL

http://IP_address_of_NE/getSwVersion. If the connection times out, the web server on the NE might be down. Contact technical support for the NE.
