Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-585: The “to” IP Address is lower than the “from” IP Address.

Recommended Action This error occurs during the addition of bulk NEs. Make sure that the To IP Address is greater than the From IP Address.

Error Message EID-586: The selected GNE ID is no longer present. Select another GNE ID.

Recommended Action This error occurs while adding an NE. If a selected GNE has been deleted by another user, this error message appears. Select a different GNE.

Error Message EID-587: Database error: Cannot delete one or more user profiles.

Recommended Action Database error occurred while checking for uniqueness of the user type name or deleting the user from the USER_TYPE_TABLE. It also occurred while writing rows in the OPERATIONS_PERMISSION_TABLE. Check your database connection.

Error Message EID-587: The selected network partition ID is no longer present. Select another network partition ID.

Recommended Action This error occurs while adding an NE. If a selected network partition has been deleted by another user, this error message appears. Select a different network partition under a different network partition.

Error Message EID-590: Encountered database error after persisting privilege values.

Recommended Action This error occurs when the privilege for the operation “Add Delete NE or Group” in the Add User Profile wizard or Modify User Profile wizard is changed from Read/Write to No Access or from No Access to Read/Write. Use the following procedure to correct the error:

Step 1 Change the privilege back to either Read/Write or No Access.

Step 2 Click Finish.

Step 3 Relaunch the wizard and set the privilege to the desired privilege.

Step 4 If the error shows again, check the database connectivity.

Error Message EID-597: The last reference of a group can be deleted only after removing all the network elements it contains. Remove all the network elements this group contains and retry.

Recommended Action Copy or move all of the NEs in this group to another group; then, retry.
