Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-111: Your password has expired. You need to set a new password. Do you want to continue?

Recommended Action Enter a new password.

Error Message EID-112: You are entering a protected Cisco domain. Do you want to continue?

Recommended Action Click OK to continue.

Error Message EID-113: Invalid password: The password cannot contain the same characters as the user ID, even in a different order.

Recommended Action Choose a different password, one that does not contain the same characters as your username.

Error Message EID-114: Invalid password: The new password must differ from the old password by at least three characters.

Recommended Action Choose a different password, one that differs from your old password by at least three characters.

Error Message EID-115: Cannot save Auto Refresh state in User Preferences database table.

Recommended Action Check your database. Cannot update Auto Refresh Mode in the

USER_PREFERENCES_TABLE.

Error Message EID-116: Cannot launch a browser. Verify that a browser is installed on your system and that the browser path in ems-client.cfg is set correctly.

Recommended Action Use the following procedure to correct the error:

Step 1 Verify that the browser path is correct in the ems-client.cfg file.

Step 2 Check the browser version. Cisco MGM 5.0 supports Internet Explorer 5.5 and later, and Netscape 4.79 and later.

Step 3 Ensure that the browser is Javascript-enabled in Windows.

Step 4 If Steps 1 to 3 do not correct the error, install a new browser.
