Appendix B Error Messages

Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-598: A database error occurred while deleting the selected group from all references of its parent. The group might not be deleted completely.

Recommended Action Restart the Cisco MGM client. Check if the deleted group still exists under all references of its parents. If it does, select each reference in the Domain Explorer Hierarchy pane and choose Edit > Delete.

Error Message EID-600: Internal error: Cannot register with the event notification subsystem for events. You might not receive updates from other users.

Recommended Action Restart the Cisco MGM client.

Error Message EID-601: The Node View cannot be invoked for Out of Service network elements.

Recommended Action This is an informational message. The Node View can be invoked only for in-service and under-maintenance NEs. No action is required.

Error Message EID-602: The Alarm Browser cannot be invoked for the selected node.

Recommended Action This is an informational message. No active alarm information is available for the selected node. No action is required.

Error Message EID-603: An error occurred while subscribing to EMS events.

Recommended Action Restart the Cisco MGM client.

Error Message EID-604: An error occurred while unsubscribing from the

Cisco Media Gateway Manager event notification subsystem.

Recommended Action Restart the Cisco MGM client.

Error Message EID-607: A GNE or NE with the same IP address already exists. Enter a unique IP address and retry.

Recommended Action Enter a unique IP address.

Error Message EID-621: Community String is a mandatory field. Enter the community string and retry.

Error Message EID-622: A fatal error occurred while requesting the topology change.
