Cisco MGM Server Error Messages
Error Message EID-2204: Software download operation failed on NE ID because the
standby agent version is running.
Recommended Action The standby agent version is running. A download operation is allowed only
when the active agent version is running. There are two options to correct the error:
Reset the NE to run the active agent version; then, overwrite the standby agent version by using
the download operation.
Swap the active and standby agent versions through the commit operation; then, overwrite the
new standby agent version by using the download operation.
Error Message EID-2205: Software revert operation failed on NE ID.
Recommended Action The cause of the software revert operation failure is unknown. Retry the revert
operation.
Error Message EID-2207: Software revert operation failed on NE ID because the standby
agent version is corrupted.
Recommended Action The standby agent version is corrupted. Use the following procedure to correct
the error:
Step 1 Execute a new download operation to replace the current standby agent version with the valid one.
Step 2 Execute the revert operation again; then, verify that the new downloaded version works correctly.
Error Message EID-2208: Software commit operation failed on NE ID.
Recommended Action The software commit operation failure cause is unknown. Retry the commit
operation.
Error Message EID-2210: Software commit operation failed on NE ID because the standby
agent version is corrupted.
Recommended Action The standby agent version is corrupted. Use the following procedure to correct
the error:
Step 1 Execute a new download operation to replace the current standby agent version with the valid one.
Step 2 Execute a revert operation and verify that the new downloaded version works correctly.
Step 3 Execute the commit operation again.
Error Message EID-2211: Exception during NE ID reset.
Recommended Action Reset the NE again.
