Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-238: At least one network element should be allowed.

Recommended Action Add at least one NE to the EFD.

Error Message EID-239: At least one access element should be allowed.

Recommended Action Add at least one access element to the EFD.

Error Message EID-241: An error occurred while logging out a MGM user.

Recommended Action Retry.

Error Message EID-242: The OSS client name cannot be <NEW>. Enter another name.

Recommended Action Enter an OSS client profile name other than “<NEW>.”

Error Message EID-243: An error occurred while stopping this service.

Recommended Action Use the following procedure to verify that the Cisco MGM processes are running:

Step 1 Log into the Cisco MGM server as the root user and enter the following command:

Step 2 Contact Cisco technical support with the results of the showmgm command.

Error Message EID-244: Unable to retrieve model or service type for this service.

Recommended Action Try again.

Error Message EID-245: Modified OSS client was not found in the database.

Recommended Action Database user data missing. Recreate the OSS user.

Error Message EID-246: An error occurred while sending events to other clients.

Recommended Action JMOCO notification error. Restart the Cisco MGM client.

Error Message EID-247: Cannot delete a new client.

Recommended Action Error deleting selected OSS client. Select another OSS client with an OSS name length greater than 0 characters.
