SECTION 12OPTIONAL ACCESSORIESHART HANDHELD 375 COMMUNICATOR
The HART Handheld 375 Communicator is an interf ace device
that provides a common communication link to HART -compatible
instruments, such as the Oxymitter 4000. HART Comm unica-
tions Protocol permits all the information av ailable from the
Oxymitter 4000’s electronics to be transmitted over s tandard
4-20 mA signal wires. By attaching the HART handhel d commu-
nicator at a termination point along the 4-20 m A signal line, a
technician can diagnose problems and configure and calibrate
the Hazardous Area Oxymitter 4000 as if he or she were stand-
ing in front of the instrument.

The specially designed Rosemount Analytical By-Pass Package
for oxygen analyzers has proven to withstand the high tem pera-
tures in process heaters while providing the sam e advantages
offered by the in situ sensor. Inconel or Kanthal s teel tubes pro-
vide effective resistance to corrosion, and the pac kage uses no
moving parts, air pumps, or other components com mon to other
sampling systems.
