5-3. Removing Jam
When film jams occur during print, the error code and the description showing the details on the jam are displayed on the message column. [TRAY OPEN], [COVER OPEN], or [SORTER COVER] is displayed on the screen at the same time.
•When [TRAY OPEN] is displayed;
Touch [TRAY OPEN] to open the tray.
The screen on the right shows an example where a film jam occurs in the upper tray.
The message of TRAY OPEN appears, then the tray pops out slightly.
When the tray pops out, the procedure of removing a jammed film is displayed on the control panel.
•When [COVER OPEN] is displayed;
Touch [COVER OPEN] to open the front cover.

The front cover will unlock after the message showing COVER OPEN appears.
When you open the front cover, the procedure of removing a film jam for each location is displayed on the control panel.
•When [SORTER COVER] is displayed;
Touch [SORTER COVER].
The screen on the right shows an example where a film jam occurs in the sorter.
After displaying the message for opening the sorter cover, the procedure of removing the sorter cover appears on the control panel.
