Introduction

1Introduction

Welcome to Kramer Electronics! Since 1981, Kramer Electronics has been providing a world of unique, creative, and affordable solutions to the vast range of problems that confront the video, audio, presentation, and broadcasting professional on a daily basis. In recent years, we have redesigned and upgraded most of our line, making the best even better! Our 1,000-plus different models now appear in 11 groups1 that are clearly defined by function.

Congratulations on purchasing your Kramer room controller device, which is ideal for controlling A/V equipment and media room items. The configuration software is part of the package and includes the Kramer K-ConfigGuide2. The Kramer K-Configsoftware lets you set a sequence of actions in a trigger (a macro) and assign them to any of the configurable buttons on any of the relevant RC devices, a schedule or an event.

The RC buttons can be configured prior to installation

1.1 Applicable Room Controllers

The K-ConfigSoftware is used to configure several types of room controllers3 in a room control system, and applies to the Master Room Controllers4 (Master RC), Auxiliary (Aux) devices and standalone devices as defined in Table 1:
