icomfortt−enabled furnace & icomfortt−enabled air conditioner

An icomfort−enabled gas furnace (G71MPP, EL296V, SLP98, SL280) with an icomfort−enabled AC (XC17 or XC21 only) unit.

1. Wiring Communicating System Wiring diagram on Page 59

and Optional Accessories Wiring (Page 61) for any accessories be- ing installed with the system.

D4−conductor thermostat wire from the icomfort Wi-Fit thermostat to the gas furnace (R, i+, i−, C)

D4−conductor thermostat wire from the integrated furnace control (IFC) terminal strip to the icomfort−enabled AC unit (R, i+, i−, C)

Refer to the wiring diagram on Page 59 and the Optional Accessories Wiring on Page 61 for any accessories being installed with the system. Use a 4-conductor thermostat wire from the icomfort Wi-Fi thermostat to the gas furnace and from the integrated furnace control terminal strip to the icomfort-enabled AC unit.

How do I check the system for installed communication devices?

After wiring the entire system, power it up and the icomfort Wi-Fi thermostat will check the system for installed communication devices.

How can I display the outdoor temperature on the thermostat?

To display the outdoor temperature on the home screen of the thermostat, turn on or off the 'empDisplay'. From the Home screen, navigate to the user preferences box and modify the 'empDisplay' setting.
