An Example of Using the Menu Tree

The Operator Panel menu tree has eight top-level menu categories. Each category contains items you can select, and some of these items contain even more options. These form a menu tree, but as you navigate through the menu tree, only the currently selected item is shown on the status display.

Checking Total Page Count

This example illustrated below shows the steps you take to view the total page count. Follow these steps:

1.Press Online. OFFLINE appears on the display.

2.Press Menu. MENU - CONTROL appears on the display.

3.Press Next. MENU - SETUP appears on the display.

4.Press Next. MENU - POSTSCRIPT appears on the display.

5.Press Next. MENU - PCL appears on the display.

6.Press Next. MENU - COMMUNICATIONS appears on the display.

7.Press Next. MENU - USAGE STATUS appears on the display.

8.Press Select. Press Next untilTOTAL PAGE COUNT appears on the display.

9.Press Select and the number of pages printed appears on the display.
