Program Backup Recipient

The backup recipient is the fax machine to which copies of your correspondence are sent.

Follow this procedure to program the Backup Recipient’s fax machine number.

1Press Menu/Exit to enter the Menu.

2Press (SHIFT DOWN) to move to LOCATION PROGRAM.

Press Enter.

3With SPEED DIAL selected, press Enter.

4Using the numeric keypad, enter 40. Press Enter.

5Enter the password you set for the backup file feature. Press Enter.

6Program the fax number and location information for the backup recipient.

Program it as you would for any speed dial. Refer to “Programming Speed Dial Numbers”.

7Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

!You must enter the password in order to change the location of the backup recipient, turn the feature off, or change the password.
