Memory Password

Speed access no. 05

This is a 4-digit numeric password used when the machine is operating in the Memory Only Reception Mode (MEM). When the machine is in this mode, and you don’t know the password, you can’t make changes or print memory data.

Only one memory password can be programmed in your machine.

Setting a Memory Password

1Press Menu/Exit to enter menu.

2Enter speed dial access no. 05. Wait.

3Enter the 4-digit numeric password (0000-9999) using numeric keypad. Press Enter.

4Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

!Be sure to record the password. Keep the record in a safe place. If you forget the password, you will need to contact a Service Dealer for assistance.

Cancelling a Registered Password

1Press Menu/Exit to enter menu.

2Enter speed dial access no. 05. Wait.

3Enter 4-digit numeric password (0000-9999) using numeric keypad. Press Enter.

4If the password matches the registered number, Password Close? displays. If numbers do not match,

Invalid Password displays.

5At Password Close, press Enter to confirm password cancellation.

6Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.
