12. Help

12.6Recording paper feeder cleaning

Clean the recording paper feeder when the recording paper frequently misfeeds.

Important:

LRemove the recording paper and the paper tray beforehand, or the paper may misfeed or jam.

1Disconnect the power cord and the telephone line cord.

2Open the front cover by pulling up the centre part.

3Release the back cover by pushing the green button (1).

4Open the back cover.

5Open the recording paper feeder cover (1).

6Clean the recording paper feeder roller (1) with a cloth moistened with isopropyl rubbing alcohol, and let all parts dry thoroughly.

Caution:

L Do not use paper products, such as paper towels or tissues.

7Close the covers (see steps 8 and 9 on page 101).

8Install the paper tray (page 19), then insert the recording paper (page 20).

9Connect the power cord and the telephone line cord.
