ORDINARY CD PLAYER OPERATIONS

To Pause Play

During playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6).

ÖThe 6 indicator and cue indicator (CUE) will flash and play will be interrupted.

ÖTo resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button once again; the 6 indicator will light steadily and playback will resume.

ÖBroken sound will still be audible during the standby mode; if you wish to stop all sound, lower the output sound volume on your audio mixer.

ÖWhen the unit has not been operated for 80 minutes or more in pause mode, the disc rotation stops automati- cally. In this instance, playback can be resumed by press- ing the PLAY/PAUSE button.

Track Cueing

7 TRACK SEARCH buttons (4, ¢)

Press one of the TRACK SEARCH buttons (4, ¢).

ÖEach time the button is pressed, the track is cued in the direction corresponding to the arrow on the but- ton (during playback of one track, to cue playback to the beginning of the preceding track, press the 4 button twice).

ÖWhen the button is press down and held, cueing is continuous. If the button is held for two seconds or more, the cue speed increases.

ÖWhen the beginning of the first track (track 1) is reached, pressing the 4 button will cue to the last track.

ÖWhen the end of the disc's last track is reached, press- ing the ¢ button will cue to the first track (track 1).

Fast-Forward / Fast-Reverse

7Operation using the SEARCH buttons

Press the SEARCH buttons (1, Á) during playback.

Press and hold the Á button to fast forward the disc; press and hold the 1 button to do fast reverse.

Interruption temporaire de la lecture

Pendant la lecture, appuyer sur la touche PLAY/ PAUSE (6).

ÖLes indicateurs 6 et CUE clignotent et la lecture est interrompue.

ÖPour reprendre la lecture, appuyer une nouvelle fois sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE; l’indicateur 6 s’allume de façon continue et la lecture reprend son cours.

ÖUn son émis par intermittence reste audible en mode d’attente; si on ne désire aucun son, abaisser le volume de sortie sur la table de mixage audio.

ÖSi l’appareil demeure en pause pendant plus de 80 mi- nutes, l'entraînement du disque s’arrête. Cela étant, la lecture peut reprendre en appuyant sur la touche PLAY/

PAUSE.

Recherche d’une plage

7 Touches TRACK SEARCH (4, ¢)

Appuyer une fois sur les touches TRACK SEARCH (4, ¢).

ÖA chaque poussée sur la touche, le lecteur recher- che la plage dans le sens correspondant à la flèche de la touche actionnée (pendant la lecture d’une plage, pour ramener la lecture au début de la plage précédente, appuyer deux fois sur la touche 4 ).

ÖSi on maintient la poussée sur la touche, la recher- che se poursuit. La vitesse de recherche s’accélère si la poussée est maintenue pendant deux secondes ou plus.

ÖQuand le début de la première plage (Plage 1) est atteint, une poussée sur la touche 4 fait passer la recherche à la dernière plage.

ÖQuand la fin de la dernière plage est atteint, une poussée sur la touche ¢ fait passer la recherche à la première plage (Plage 1) du disque.

Avance rapide / Recul rapide

7Fonctionnement à l’aide des touches SEARCH.

Appuyer sur les touches SEARCH (1, Á) pendant la lecture.

Maintenir la poussée sur la touche Á pour effectuer une avance rapide sur le disque, ou maintenir la poussée sur la touche 1 pour un recul rapide.
