CUE

Full cueing functions.

¦Back Cue Function

Pressing the CUE button after listening to sound from a cue point returns the pickup to the cue point and allows play to restart from there.

The back cue function allows you to return any number of times to a preselected cue point by pressing a single but- ton.

¦Auto Cue Function

Automatic bypassing of the non-recorded part of track in- troductions, cueing the track to a standby point immedi- ately before sound starts.

This function allows instantaneous start of playback when the PLAY button is pressed.

¦Cue Point Sampler Function

Allows playing up to ten minutes of sound from a preselected cue point.

This function is convenient for confirming a cue point or creating a track sampler. Its on-the-fly setting of cue points greatly facilitating the selection and change of cue points.

¦Fonction de retour au point d’attaque

Une poussée sur la touche CUE après écoute du son à partir d’un point d’attaque ramène le capteur de lecture à ce point précis et permet d’y recommencer la lecture.

La fonction Retour au point d’attaque permet, par la sim- ple poussée sur un bouton, de revenir autant de fois que souhaité à un point d’attaque présélectionné.

¦Fonction Attaque automatique

En ignorant automatiquement la partie non enregistrée des introductions de plage, il est possible de passer à un point d’attente immédiatement avant le début du son.

Cette fonction autorise un lancement instantané de la musique dès que la touche PLAY est actionnée.

¦Fonction Echantillonneur de Point d’attaque

Elle permet de restituer jusqu’à 10 minutes de son à partir d’un point d’attaque présélectionné.

Cette fonction s’avère pratique pour confirmer un point d’attaque ou pour créer un échantillon de plage: son réglage au vol des points d’attaque facilite fortement la sélection et le changement des points d’attaque.

RELAY PLAY

Connect two CDJ-500S decks.

If two units are connected, when playback of a track comes to an end on one deck, standby mode on the second deck is released instantly beginning playback on that deck.

HEADPHONES JACK

Built-in headphones jack with volume control.

A headphones jack is located on the rear panel allowing the monitoring of sound at any time.

PICKUP PROTECTOR

Whenever the disc compartment door is opened, a shutter closes over the pickup section protecting the pickup and motor from tobacco smoke, dust and other foreign matter.

INCLINED MOUNT

45°Tilt Mounting

The deck can be mounted at an angle of 0 to 45° (tilting toward the user) for greater range of use.

OIL-DAMPED SUSPENSION

Oil-damped floating suspension protects against vibrations and impacts.

The player has been designed with an oil-damped floating suspension to prevent sound skipping even when the unit is subjected to impacts during use or floor-transmitted vi- brations. The case incorporates a specially insulated disc compartment capable of withstanding the high sound pres- sures produced in disco environments.

LECTURE A RELAIS

Raccorder deux platines CDJ-500S.

Si deux appareils sont raccordés, quand la lecture d’une plage s’achève sur une platine, le mode d’attente est relâché sur l’autre, ce qui fait commencer à l’instant la lecture sur celle-ci.

PRISE POUR CASQUE D’ECOUTE

Prise de casque incorporée avec commande de volume.

Sur le panneau arrière est prévue une prise de casque qui permet de surveiller le son à tout moment.

PROTECTION DU CAPTEUR OPTIQUE

Chaque fois que le volet du compartiment du disque est ouvert, un obturateur recouvre la section du capteur optique pour protéger celui-ci et le moteur contre la fumée de tabac, la poussière et tout autre corps étranger.

INSTALLATION INCLINEE

Montage possible à inclinaison de 45 degrés.

Pour la facilité de son emploi, l’appareil peut être incliné vers l’utilisateur à un angle de 0° à 45°.

AMORTISSEMENT PAR HUILE

Une suspension flottante à bain d’huile assure une pro- tection contre chocs et vibrations.

Le lecteur comporte une suspension flottante à huile afin d’éviter tout saut du son, même lorsque l’appareil subit des chocs pendant son emploi ou des vibrations, créées transmises par le plancher. Le boîtier incorpore aussi un logement de disque spécialement isolé pour résister aux fortes pressions sonores, pouvant exister dans une discothèque.
