(Example: Mix track B with currently playing track A from the main speakers.)

ÖConnect CD-1 to the DJ mixer’s CH 1, and connect CD-2 to CH 2.

ÖRaise the TRIM, CHANNEL FADER, and MASTER LEVEL settings appropriately so that sound is produced from

CD-1.

1.Set the DJ Mixer’s CROSS FADER slider at its left side (CH 1).

ÖTrack A is heard from speakers.

2.Load a CD on player CD-2.

3.Press the TRACK SEARCH buttons (4, ¢) on player

CD-2 to find and select track B.

4.Set the Mixer’s MONITOR SELECTOR button CH 2 to ON.

5.Rotate the DJ Mixer’s MONITOR LEVEL so that track B can be heard from the headphones.

ÖOnly track A is heard from the main speakers.

6.Set cueing for track B on the headphones.

1 With player CD-2 in the playback mode, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) hear the point you wish

to cue.

ÖThe player will enter the pause mode (Broken sound will be audible).

2Rotate player CD-2’s jog dial and search for the track’s cue point (first beat).

3When you have settled on the cue point, press the CUE button on player CD-2.

ÖThe player’s sound will be muted and cueing will be completed.

7.Simultaneously press player CD-2’s PLAY/PAUSE but- ton (6) when track A is heard from the speakers.

Ö Only the track A will be heard from the main speak- ers.

Ö Track B will be heard from the headphones.

ÖRaccorder le lecteur CD-1 sur les prises CH 1 du mixeur DJ et le lecteur CD-2 sur CH 2.

ÖElever les réglages TRIM, CHANNEL, FADER et MAS- TER LEVEL de façon appropriée pour que le son du

lecteur CD-1 soit obtenu.

1.Régler le curseur CROSS FADER du Mixeur DJ à sa position de gauche (CH 1).

ÖLa plage A est audible par les haut-parleurs.

2.Placer un CD sur le lecteur CD-2.

3.Appuyer sur les touches TRACK SEARCH (4, ¢) du lecteur CD-2, pour localiser la plage B.

4.Régler le sélecteur MONITOR SELECTOR CH 2 du Mixeur DJ sur ON.

5.Tourner la commande MONITOR LEVEL du Mixeur DJ de manière que la plage B soit audible par le casque.

ÖLes haut-parleurs principaux restituent seulement les sons de la plage A.

6.Définir le point de repère pour la plage B par le casque d’écoute.

1 Le lecteur CD-2 étant en mode de lecture, appuyer sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour entendre le point que l’on veut localiser.

ÖLe lecteur se place en mode de pause (Un son brisé sera audible).

2Tourner la molette du lecteur CD-2 et rechercher le

point de repère (première mesure) de la plage.

3Quand on a défini le point de repère, appuyer sur la touche CUE du lecteur CD-2.

ÖLe son du lecteur est mis en sourdine et la locali- sation est terminée.

7.En synchronisation avec le son de la plage A audible par le casque d’écoute, appuyer sur la touche PLAY/ PAUSE (6) du lecteur CD-2.

Ö Les haut-parleurs principaux restituent seulement les sons de la plage A.

Ö Les sons de la plage B sont audibles par le casque.
