Technique 3: Real Time Cue and Cue Point Sampler

Set a cue point on the fly, and sample the currently playing track.

1.During playback, press the LOOP IN/REAL TIME CUE button.

2.Press the CUE button with timing that will give the playback an accent.

ÖPlayback will return to the cue point set in step 1.

3.In rhythm to the piece, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6).

ÖThe track will play from the cue point.

ÖIf you press the CUE button instead of the PLAY/ PAUSE button, sound will be produced only as long as the button is pressed.

ÖBy repeating steps 2 and 3 in a way that matches the track being played, you can create playback that sounds like a sampler is being used.

Technique 4: Loop and Reloop

---- Short Cut ----

Make a track composed of the introduction and ending only.

1.While standing by to play the next track, creat a loop containing only the ending portion of the track.

1Press the LOOP IN/REAL TIME CUE button at the point you wish to start the loop.

2Press the LOOP OUT/EXIT button at the point you wish to end the loop.

2.Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) to begin playing the track normally.

3.Pay attention to the timing as the introduction finishes playing, and press the RELOOP button at the point just before the vocal portion begins.

Ö The play will shift to the set loop and play the track’s ending portion.

TECHNIQUES EVOLUEES

Technique 3: Repère en temps réel et Echantillon de Point d’attaque

Définir un point d’attaque au vol et échantillonner la plage actuellement en cours de lecture.

1.Pendant la lecture, appuyer sur la touche LOOP IN/REAL TIME CUE.

2.Appuyer sur la touche CUE de manière qu’un accent soit donné à la lecture.

ÖLa lecture repassera au point d’attaque, défini à l’étape 1.

3.En tenant compte du rythme du morceau, appuyer sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE(6)

ÖLa plage est reproduite à partir du point d’attaque.

ÖSi on appuie sur la touche CUE au lieu de la touche PLAY/PAUSE, le son sera produit seulement aussi longtemps que la touche sera maintenue enfoncée.

ÖEn répétant les étapes 2 et 3 de manière à convenir à la plage en cours de lecture, on peut réaliser une lecture qui fait penser qu’un échantillonneur a été utilisé.

Technique 4: Boucle et Reprise de boucle

Pour réaliser une plage composée seulement d’une intro- duction et d’une fin.

1.En étant en mode d’attente pour reproduire la plage suivante, créer une boucle contenant la portion finale de la plage seulement.

2Appuyer sur la touche LOOP OUT/EXIT au point où l’on désire terminer la boucle.

2.Appuyer sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour lancer normalement la lecture de la plage.

3.Faire attention au moment où la lecture de l’introduction s’achève et appuyer sur la touche RELOOP au point juste avant le début de la portion vocale.

Ö La lecture passera à la boucle définie et la portion finale de la plage sera reproduite.
