Playback Operations with Auto Cue Function ON

These represent basic playback operations when the auto cue function is on (the display’s AUTO CUE indicator is lit).

1.Press the EJECT button (0).

2.Load a compact disc.

ÖSet the disc in the center of the tray with the label side up.

ÖWhen loading an 8-cm disc, set the disc in the groove in the very center of the tray.

ÖLoad only one disc at a time.

3.Press the front of the disc door to close.

4.Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6).

ÖPress this button only after the cue indicator (CUE) is lit. Playback will begin immediately.

7When playback of one track ends, the player advances to cue the beginning of the next track and enters the standby mode. The cue indicator (CUE) lights, and the 6 indicator flashes indicating the unit is in playback standby mode. When the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) is pressed, the cued track will playback immediately.

Cueing by Frames

7Jog dial

During playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) to enter standby mode, then rotate the jog dial to cue by frame.

ÖCueing is performed in increments of single frames by rotating the jog dial.

ÖWhen the jog dial is rotated clockwise, the player cues forward; rotate counterclockwise to cue in the reverse direction.

ÖWhen the jog dial is turned at a speed of about 1 rotation per second, normal playback sound will be produced (75 frames = 1 second).

Opérations de lecture avec la fonction Attaque Automatique en service

On trouvera ici les opérations de base quand la fonction d’attaque automatique est activée (l’indicateur AUTO CUE est allumé sur l’affichage).

1.Appuyer sur la touche EJECT (0).

2.Placer un disque dans l’appareil.

ÖPoser le disque bien au centre du plateau en dirigeant son étiquette vers le haut.

ÖDans le cas d’un disque de 8 cm, le poser dans la cavité exactement au centre du plateau.

ÖNe jamais placer plusieurs disques à la fois.

3.Pousser sur l’avant du volet du logement pour le refermer.

4.Appuyer sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (6).

ÖAppuyer sur cette touche uniquement après que l’indicateur CUE s’est allumé. La lecture commence immédiatement.

7A la fin de la lecture d’une plage, l’appareil passe au début de la suivante et il s’y place en mode d’attente. L’indicateur CUE s’allume tandis que l’indicateur 6 clignote pour signaler que l’appareil se trouve en mode d’attente de lecture. Quand la touche PLAY/PAUSE (6) est alors actionnée, la lecture de la plage localisée com- mence immédiatement.

Recherche par images

7Molette pas-à-pas.

Pendant la lecture, appuyer sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour passer au mode d’attente, puis tourner la molette pour effecteur la recherche par image.

ÖLa recherche s’accomplit par paliers d’une image par rotation de la molette.

ÖLorsque la molette est tournée dans le sens horaire, la recherche s’accomplit vers l’avant; elle s’accomplit vers l’arrière quand la molette est tournée dans le sens anti-horaire.

ÖSi la molette est tournée à une vitesse d’environ une rotation par seconde, le son normal de la lecture sera audible (75 images = 1 seconde).
