Nur UKW-Sender strahlen RDS-Daten aus, so daß nur bei Einstellung auf eine UKW-Empfangsfrequenz die Anzeige von RDS-Informationen möglich ist.

Soltanto le stazioni FM trasmettono dati RDS, pertanto si deve essere sintonizzati su una stazione della banda FM per poter visualizzare un’informazione RDS.
