2Press DISPLAY.

Press repeatedly and choose between:

RT - Radio Text

PS - Program Service Name PTY - Program Type

Stop on the one you want, then press SET.

The display will show the RDS information, if there is any. If the station you're listening to is not transmitting any RDS information, you'll see the message NO DATA in the display.

If you selected PTY and the display shows NO TYPE, the display will revert automatically to the program service name after about 5 seconds.

Arrêtez-vous sur le type d’informations souhaité et appuyez sur SET.

Des informations RDS apparaissent sur l’afficheur s’il en existe. Si la station que vous écoutez ne diffuse pas actuellement des informations RDS, le message NO DATA apparaîtra.

Si vous sélectionnez PTY et si NO TYPE s’affiche, le nom de la chaîne de programme réapparaîtra automatiquement dans les 5 secondes.

Searching for a Program Type

One of the most useful features of RDS is the ability to search for a particular kind of radio program. You can search for any of the program types listed on pages 43 and 44 —this covers all kinds of music, as well as news, weather forecasts, sports programs, and a variety of others.
