3Load the MD you want to record.

See page 14 of the MD manual for detailed instructions on loading discs.

If the disc has started playing, press &.

With the MD stopped, the display shows the number of tracks and the playing time

4If you want to record just one track, select the track using the $ and Ý buttons.

5Press TAPE REC.

The tape deck goes into record-pause mode, waiting for you to start the MD recorder.

The synchro indicator lights and the recording indicator flashes

6Press MD to start the MD playing.

Recording starts automatically with the MD.

Once the track or disc has finished, the tape deck goes back into record-pause mode—press &to fully stop recording.

Should you want to stop recording before the track/disc has finished playing, simply press &any time during the recording.

After starting MD playback, the recording indicator lights steadily

Note: If the recorder has to switch the side of the tape half way through a track, recording will start again on the other side from the beginning of the same track. This means you don't get a single track spread over two sides of a tape.

6Appuyez sur MD pour commencer la lecture de MD.

L’enregistrement commence en même temps que la lecture du MD.

Lorsque la plage ou le disque a été enregistré, la platine se met en pause d’enregistrement. Appuyez sur &pour arrêter complètement l’enregistrement.

Si vous voulez arrêter l’enregistrement avant la fin de la plage ou du disque, appuyez simplement sur &quand vous voulez pendant l’enregistrement.

Lorsque la lecture du MD commence, l’indicateur d’enregistrement reste allumé

Remarque: Si la face de la cassette doit être inversée au milieu d’une plage, l’enregistrement recommencera sur l’autre face depuis le début de la même plage. Vous aurez donc une plage complète sur une face.
