Optional System Components

This section describes the components that you can purchase as an option with a

ViewStationEX, ViewStation FX, or VS4000 system.

Network Interface Modules

These network interface modules are available for the ViewStationEX,

ViewStationFX, or VS4000 system:

Additional Microphone Pod

You can connect up to two microphone pods to the system or to a Visual

ConcertFX unit.

If you install more than one microphone pod, ensure that all microphone pods are

at least 6 ft (1.8 m) apart.

Network Interface

Quad BRI ViewStationEX,

VS4000

Allows you to connect to an ISDN

network using up to four BRI lines.

PRI ViewStationFX,

VS4000 Allows you to connect to an ISDN

network using a PRI line.

V.35/RS-449/RS-530 ViewStationEX,

Allows you to connect to third-party

network equipment, including

encryption equipment and RS-366

dialers.
