Masking Port Alarms

ASMi-52 allows you to mask alarms generated by local and remote devices.

To mask ASMi-52 alarms:

From the Physical Port Status menu (Figur e 6-14), select Line mask (Main

menu > Monitoring > Physical Port Status > Line Mask).

The Line Mask value changes to Mask. ASMi-52 starts ignoring all alarms

generated devices connected to the modem.
