Managing the CPU Locally

You can connect a serial device such as a VT-100 terminal, a PC using terminal software, or dial-up modem to the CPU as an alternative method of managing the CPU.

Using this method, you can communicate with the CPU to make configuration changes or to interrogate the CPU for performance statistics.
