RCAUTION:

•Do not use aluminum foil, carbon paper, or similar conductive paper to avoid a fire or machine failure.

Important

❒To prevent faults, do not use any of the following kinds of paper:

•Thermal fax paper

•Art paper

•Aluminum foil

•Carbon paper

•Conductive paper

•OHP transparencies for colour copying

•Paper with perforated lines

•Hemmed paper

❒Do not use copy paper that has been already copied onto, fault could occur if you do.

Note

❒To prevent misfeeds, do not use the following kinds of paper:

•Bent, folded, or creased paper

•Torn paper

•Slippery paper

•Perforated paper

• Rough paper 9

•Thin paper with little stiffness

•Paper with a dusty surface

❒If you copy onto rough grain paper, the image might be blurred.

Paper Storage

Note

❒When storing paper, the following precautions should always be followed:

•Do not store paper where it will be exposed to direct sunlight.

•Avoid storing paper in humid areas (humidity: 70% or less).

•Store on a flat surface.

❒Do not store paper vertically.

❒Under high temperature and humidity conditions, or low temperature and humidity conditions, store paper in vinyl bags.
