Network Menu

This menu lets you configure the network interface card installed in your printer. You can upgrade the firmware of the network interface card and print a configuration page.

NOTE: This menu only appears when a network card is installed (ML-3561N, ML-3561ND, or ML-3560 with an optional network card).

Item	Explanation
	Values: Yes, No*
Config	Set whether or not you configure network
Network	values.
	If you select Yes, the following options are
	available: Config TCP, Config 802.11b,
	AppleTalk, and Netware.
	Values: Yes, No*
	Select whether you set the IP address item
Config TCP	or not.
	If you select Yes, you can configure the IP
	address.
	If you select Yes, the IP Get Method option
	appears on the display. You can select how to
	get the IP address.
	Values: Static, BOOTP, DHCP*
	You can set this item only when you set
IP Get	Config TCP to Yes.
	• BOOTP: The BOOTP server allots the IP
Method
	address to you automatically.

•DHCP: The DHCP server allots the IP address to you automatically.

•Static: You can enter IP address, subnetmask, and gateway manually.

	You can select this item only when you set IP
	Get Method to Static. This item lets you
	enter the IP address manually. Press the scroll
IP Address	button to set the value of the 1st byte between
	0 and 255, and then press the Enter button.
	Set the value for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th byte
	the same way.

	Get Method to Static. This item lets you
	enter the subnet mask manually. Press the
Subnet Mask	scroll button to set the value of the 1st byte
	between 0 and 255, and then press the Enter
	button.
	Set the value for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th bytes in
	the same way.
	You can set this item only when you set IP
	Get Method to Static. This item lets you
	enter the gateway manually. Press the scroll
Gateway	button to set the value of the 1st byte between
	0 and 255, and then press the Enter button.
	Set the value for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th bytes in
	the same way.
	Values: Yes, No*
	Configure the Wireless Network
	environments.
	If you select Yes, the following options are
Config WLAN	available: SSID, Operation Mode,
	Channel, Authentication, Encryption,
	Using Key, Key Type, and Key1~Key4.

	NOTE: This menu only appears when an
	optional wireless network interface card has
	been installed in ML-3560, ML-3561N or ML-
	3561ND.
	Values: On*, Off
AppleTalk	This item lets you select whether or not you
	use the AppleTalk protocol. Select On to use
	the protocol.
	Values: On*, Off
	This item selects whether you use the Netware
Netware	protocol.
	If you select On, you can access the Config
	Netware menu item.
	In the Config Netware menu, you can
	specify the frame type parameter used on your
	network.
