Operation on Telephone Systems Comfort Mobile Unit
The Gigaset 1054 can be connected to telephone systems with tone dialing (DTMF) or pulse
dialing (DPS).
At the time of first start up on a telephone system, you must program a dialing timeout for the
through connection to the public network. By storing a trunk code, you stipulate this automatic
timeout which must occur before the telephone number is dialed.
All the trunk codes for your telephone system must be entered one after the other.
The following procedure is used to enter an automatic dialing timeout of 3 seconds.
Please also note the operating instructions for your telephone.
The 0 ... 9 keys as well as the star, pound and signal keys can be used for the trunk code (AKZ).

1. In idle state, push the ßkey and select “Service” from the main menu.
2. In the Service menu, select “System settings” and enter the system code
(see page 115).
After the correct system code is entered,
the following display appears:
Select with OK.
Select with OK.
Scroll with NEXT to select “New entry” and
confirm with OK.
oEnter trunk code (AKZ); for example, 0,
and store with SAVE.
Note:
The trunk code for “External 2“ is set accordingly.
Where necessary, the HAKZ for “External 1” and “External 2” can be set in the same man-
ner.
