General Information

The Gigaset 1054 can be connected to telephone systems with tone dialing (DTMF) or pulse dialing (DPS).

Enter the Trunk Code (AKZ)

At the time of first start up on a telephone system, you must program a dialing timeout for the through connection to the public network. By storing a trunk code, you stipulate this automatic timeout which must occur before the telephone number is dialed.

All the trunk codes for your telephone system must be entered one after the other. The following procedure is used to enter an automatic dialing timeout of 3 seconds. Please also note the operating instructions for your telephone.

The 0 ... 9 keys as well as the star, pound and signal keys can be used for the trunk code (AKZ). To set the different timeout lengths, see „Change Length of Timeout after AKZ / HAKZ“ on page 139.

1.In idle state, push the ßkey and select “Service” from the main menu.
