Operation on Telephone Systems Standard Mobile Unit
The Gigaset 1054 can be connected to telephone systems with tone dialing (DTMF) or pulse
dialing (DPS).
At the time of first start up on a telephone system, you must program a dialing timeout for the
through connection to the public network. By storing a trunk code, you stipulate this automatic
timeout which must occur before the telephone number is dialed.
All trunk codes (AKZ) which are to be programmed for your telephone system must be entered
one after the other.
The following procedure is used to enter an automatic dialing timeout of 3 seconds.
Please also follow the operating instructions for your telephone system.
The 0 ... 9 keys as well as the star, pound and signal keys can be used for the AKZ.
For setting the length of the timeout, see „Change Length of Timeout after AKZ / HAKZ“ on
page 139.
w#Push the enter key and the # key.
0Push the 0.
oEnter the system code. Every digit
entered replaces one dash on the display.
!...Select external telephone line 1 or 2.
zPush the number redial key.
oEnter trunk code (1 - 3 characters); here, 0.
If multiple trunk codes (up to 3, each with 1 - 3 characters) are to be entered, the number redial
key must be pushed each time, followed by the next trunk code.
Thereafter:
wPush the enter key.
Trunk code(s) is / are stored.
