Operation with Comfort Mobile Unit Using the Menu
The menu structure for settings is set up as a hierarchy. Generally, settings are first made in idle
status. Additional settings options are also offered in other operating statuses (see “Status-
Dependent Menus“).
You can move to the desired setting step by step. The ßkey also allows you to scroll backward
through the menu levels (Main Menu - Service - System Settings - Equipment Data). Thus, you
can scroll back quickly through the levels.
If you want to terminate the process -- from any point within the menu structure -- without
changing anything, push the connect key gonce, or if necessary twice.
Your Comfort mobile unit initiates an automatic cancel after 30 seconds if you do not push any
key within this time.
Example:
In order to program call forwarding, for instance, the following steps must be carried out (from
idle state): Push the ß key; go to the “Service” menu from the main menu; from the Service
menu, select “Forward.ON.”
