Operation with Auxiliary Device Incoming Calls

You can pick up an external call even if the call is not directly signalled on your telephone. This sit-
uation can occur, for example, in the case of internal call forwarding ( page 126), if the internal call
has already been forwarded. For this, your station must be part of the call group and call pickup
must be activated (status at initialization).

An external call is signalled on another telephone.

You have picked up the external call.
Call waiting signals an incoming external call during an ongoing call. If you pick up the external
call while engaged in an internal call, then the internal call is terminated. The call waiting feature
can be activated and deactivated from a mobile unit (pages 37 and 88).
If you pick up the external call while you are engaged in another external call, the first external
call is placed on hold.
bYou are engaged in a call and hear the call waiting tone.
