Leaving the Radio Range

If, during a call, you leave the radio range of the base station, an alarm tone will be signalled “Leaving the Radio Range”. The quality of the voice connection becomes poor, especially if you are moving about. Move closer to the base station to improve the voice connection. If you inten- tionally move out of the radio range, taking your mobile unit with you, we recommend that you switch off the mobile unit to preserve the rechargeable batteries.
