Lock to Prevent Outgoing Calls / Emergency Numbers

Using the system lock, you can prevent the base station from being used for outgoing calls. Calls can still be received.

Exception: Connection setup with an emergency number is possible even if the system lock is activated. Up to four 16-character emergency numbers can be stored.

1.In the idle state, push the ßkey and select “Service” from the main menu.

2.In the Service menu, select “System settings” and enter the system code (see also page 115).

After the correct system code is entered, the following display appears:

Scroll, using NEXT, through the next menu until “System lock” is in the 1st line; select this with OK.

The menu for setting the system lock appears (entire menu at left).

You can, using NEXT / OK, select and edit the following options:

Note:

If you have activated both telephone lock with hotline (see page 114) and system lock with emergency numbers, dialing cannot occur. Exception: The hotline number is the same as the emergency number.
