Operation with Comfort Mobile Unit During the Call
If your Gigaset 1054 is connected to a telephone line with tone dialing, then the following
explanation has no relevance for you .
If your Gigaset 1054 is connected to a telephone connection with pulse dialing (DPS), you have
the option of temporarily switching your Gigaset 1054 from DPS to tone dialing (DTMF) during a
call.
By switching the dialing mode from pulse to tone dialing, you can use the dialpad of your mobile
unit to enter information during a call, for example to query an answering machine or a voice
mailbox or to take advantage of services offered by the German Telekom AG such as “City Call”
and “Scall.”
At the time of initialization, tone dialing is pre-set.
You are engaged in an external call and want
to switch to tone dialing.
Push the F-key; the menu appears.
Scroll with NEXT until “Temp. tone
on appears on the 1st line
and then select with OK .
Push this key to deactivate
tone dialing.
Note:
After the end of the call, the tone dialing function is automatically deactivated.
