Set Connection Configuration for Internal Stations

You can stipulate which different types of devices are to be used at the different stations.

Cordless terminals can be mobile units or cordless connections such as Gigaset 1000TAE . For these stations, “mobile unit” is pre-set.

For non-cordless devices, the device type “Telephone” is set. Modems or fax machines should preferably be connected to station 0; a door interphone, however, can only be connected to sta- tion 9.

1.In idle state, push the ßkey and select “Service” from the main menu.

2.In the Service menu, select “System settings” and enter the system code. (see also page 115).

After the correct system code has been entered, the following menu appears:

Scroll through the menu with NEXT ...

until “Equipment data” is in the 1st line; then select with OK.

Scroll through the menu with NEXT...

until “a/b line” is in the 1st line; then select with OK.

Choose one of the two auxiliary devices, using NEXT, and

select with OK ; here, “a/b line 0“.

The menu for the selection of the device type appears (entire menu at left).

Using NEXT, choose a device type and stipu- late it with SAVE; here, “FAX“.

Neutral signifies fax and telephone.
