Operation with Standard Mobile Unit Lock
You can lock your mobile unit, thus preventing unauthorized or unintentional use.
If you have programmed a hotline number, then only this hotline number can be dialed.
If no hotline number is programmed, only incoming calls are possible.
To unlock the mobile unit, see page 66.
wPress the enter key.
(Press the 8 key.
!Press the 1 key

oEnter the mobile unit PIN.
Every digit entered
replaces one dash on the screen.
wPush the enter key again.
The mobile unit is locked.
Example:
Display without hotline number.
Display with hotline number.
Note:
●After locking the mobile unit, the enter key can only be used to
unlock it (within 3 seconds) or to dial the hotline number.
●If you want to lock the mobile unit, without programming a hotline number, any hotline num-
ber which was already programmed into the unit must first be deleted. See “View /Delete /
Enter Hotline Number,”page 65.
●We recommend that you check to make sure that the number is correctly entered by making
a test call.
