If you don’t havenetwork acc ess, performthe following procedureto troubleshoot yoursy stem.
gTo resolvenetwork communication issues
1. Ensure that your networkc ableis properlyconnected to the RJ45 connection ont heprojector’s
connectionpanel.
2. Ensure that the LAN warninglight on the projector is green.To activ ate the projector’snetwork
features,use the “vgaoutnetenable=on”RS-232command (see Projectorprogramming
commands onpage70) or enablethe Network and VGA Out setting (see Adjusting projector
settings onpage 14). Thenetwork features on the projectordon’t work until you complete one
of these tasks.
3. Press the Menu button, andt henselect t heN etworkSettings menu to check the IP address.

IP addressinto y ourbrowser or SNMP agent.
4. If y ous till don’t havenetwork acc ess, contact your network administrator.If your administrator
is unableto resolve the issue, contact y ourauthorized SMART reseller.
Resolving ECP issues
If the ECP isn’t receivingpower, complete the following tasks:
lConfirmthat t heEC P cable harness’s11-pin connectoris properlyconnected to the ECP.
lConfirmthat t heEC P cable harness’s7-pin min-DIN connector is properlyc onnectedto the
ECP connectoron the projector.
Accessing the service menu

thes ervice menu.Do not share the service menu access code with casual users of your
interactivewhiteboard system.
lDo not adjust anys ettings in the service menuother than those listed in this guide. Changing
othersettings can damage oraffect the operationof your projector andmay invalidate your
warranty.
