Absolute valuesand adjustment values
Youcan use the command’s target rangeto set an absolute value for a commandor cause an
adjustmentto be made to the currentv alue.To create an adjustment command,add a plus (+) or
minus(-) symbol instead of the equal symbol (=) beforethe value changeyou want to enter.
All absolutevalues you enter must be within the command targetrange, and all adjustmentvalues
must equala number within the commandtarget range.
Seethe following examples for adjusting projectorbrightness:
>get brightness
brightness=55
>set brightness=65
brightness=65
>set brightness+5
brightness=70
>set brightness-15
brightness=55

Youcan use the source input field describedin Source selection controls on next page in a command
to set an absolutevalue or adjustment valuet o a sourceother than the active source. You can do this
whilet hes electedsource is inactiv e, but the sourcedevice must be connected or you will receive an
invalidcommand response.
