lBeforeyou clean the projector,press t hePower button twice on the ECP or remote
controlto put the sy stem in Standby mode,and then allow the lamp to cool for at least 30
minutes.
lDo not spray cleaners,solvents or compressed air nearany part of the projector because
they can damageor stain the unit. Sprayingt hesy stem could spreada chemical mist on
someof the projector’scomponents and lamp, resultingin damageand poor imagequality.
lDo not allow liquidsor commercial solvents of any k indto flow into the projector.

lFollowt heseguidelines to clean the projector:
oWipet heext eriorof the projector with a lint-freec loth.
oIf necessary, use a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergentt o cleanthe projector
housing.
oDo not use abrasivecleaners, waxes or solvents.
oAvoid touchingthe lens. If it is necessary to c leanthe lens:
oUse liquids orc ommercialsolvents (such as glass cleaners)to c leanthe lens,
butdo not spray them directly on the system.
oUse protective gloves anddip a lint-free cloth (such as Purestat PW2004)in an
anti-static solvent (such as HypercleanEE-6310).
oGentlyw ipet helens f romthe center to the edge. Do not apply any pressureto
thelens.
