Pressthe 6fi~~ECTPAR~buttoninorderto feedthe cutsheet tothe startingprint
position.Theprinterwill automaticallygoon-line.
Printasnormalon thecut sheet(s),andwhen youhaveftished printing,
putthe printeroff-line(by p~ssing the .ONLNE.;button agtin).
Ifthe softwarehas notdone thisfor you,eject thepaperby pressing the
@IS!:@button.
Movethe releaselever to the front of thepaper (~position) to select
fanfoldpaper(engagingthe fanfoldsprockets).
Nowfeed thefanfoldpaper tothe printpositionby pressingthe {EKJECTP(R]
button.Thepaper willmoveto its formerprint position,andthe printer
willautomaticallygoon-line.
Youare nowready to startprintingon fanfold paperagain.
Shorttear-offfunction
Theshort-tear-offfunction ishandy when using fanfold paper. It ejects the
paperso thatthe perforation is just abovethe transparent cover, allowingyou
tear it off withouthavingto openup the printer.It then reversesthe paper
feedafteryou havetom offthe paper,the~by startingprintingatthe topof
thenext form.This featureisespeciallyusefulif you are usingpre-printed
stationery(suchas invoices,etc),which willnot be printedall together.
Touse theshorttear-offfunction,pressthe{ ON”LINEIbuttonwhentheprinter
ison-line,andhold itdownfor afewseconds.Whenyoureleasethe button,
thepnnterwillgooff-line,andthepaperwillmoveup afewinches,allowing
youto tear offthe form.
To ~tum thepaper to itspreviousposition,press the ONLINE buttononce
again.When you ~lease the button,the printer will return to its on-line
status,andthepaperwillbe fedbackwards,withtheprint headalignedwith
thetop of thenext form.
