Whenusingfanfold(continuous) paper, this ShortTear

Offoption allows you to tear off one sheetof paper

withouthavingtoejectthewholeofthefollowingsheet.

Ifthisoptionisset[ON*],whenthepaperreachesthetop

ofthe form, it will automaticallybeadvancedalittle,

allowingyoutotear offthepaper easily.Setthisoption

toIOFFIif Youdonot wantto use it.

Whenusingfanfold(continuous)paper,you maywish

printingtostopalittle beforethebottomof each shee~

andstartprintingaLittleafterthebegimingofthenext(in

otherwords,skippingoverrheperforation).Thisisuseful

ifyouwantto produceprogramlistings,etc.Thiscanbe

enabledbysettingthisoption[ONI,or,ifusingsoftware

whichperformsthisfunctionautomatically,itcanbeset

[OFF].

Ifsel [ONI,thiswillexpandall receivedcarriagereturn

codesto alinefeed and carriagereturnpair. However,

thismaybe set [OFF*Iifyoursoftwaredemandsit.

Ifset [ON*],this functionwillexpandall receivedline

feedcodesto acarriagereturnand line-feedpair.How-

ever,this may be set [OFF] if you do not want to be

expanded.

Thissetsthenumberoflinesperverticalinchwhichwill

beprintedto [3 LPI],[4 LPI],[6 LPI*]or [8LPI].

Thepagelengthmaybesetbymeansofthe DIPswitches

[DIP-SW*](seeChapter5for details)or to any of the

followinglengths(ininches):[31,[3.51,[41,[5.51,[61,

[7],[8],[8.5],[11.7]

or [14].A4 paperis equivalentto

11.7inches,whilethe DIPswitchsettingsof 11 inches

and12incheswillnormallybeused forfanfoldpaper.
