8. Filter Selection
The 1760--Series offers several filter selections for the
waveform display.
Ensure that the instrument is operating in waveform mode.
Enter the FILTER menu (FLAT is selected bythe factory
preset). SelectLUM filter. This provides a low-pass-filtered
display of the luminance portion of the signal. See
Figure 2-7.

Select CHROM. This provides a bandpass-filtered display of
the chrominance portion of the signal. See Figure 2-8.
Select F+L (FLAT plus LUM).The flat display is superim-
posed onthe luminance-filtered display (overlay is selected
by the factorypreset). Press the appropriatebezel button
(not the front-panel PARAD E button) to select parade. The
flat display isnow on the left, followed by the luminance-fil-
tered display.
