BowtieIn BOWTIE mode, the display isforced to a two line or field
sweep and A123 input is selected. The left half of the dis-
play shows CH-1 minus CH-2 and the right half shows CH-1
minus CH-3. Ifthe timing between channels is matched, the
centers of the bowties will be c entered and not skewed. If
CH-2 is delayed with respect to CH-1, the skew moves to the
right. If CH-2i sa dvanced with respect to CH-1, the skew
moves to the left.
NOTE
A123 (or B123) must be configured as a compo-
nent input. See CONFIGURE menu, page 3-20.
PictureThe PICTURE mode allows the operator to verify the signal
source. In PICTUREmode with LINE SELECT on, a bright-up
marker identifiesthe selected line in the picture.
Time CodeLongitudinaltime code is monitored in a frame-rate display
to allow observation of amplitude, synchronizat ion, and
phase with respect to reference vertica l sync. Synchroniza-
tion is confirmedby the stationary display and time code
phase is determinedby horizontal position of the time code
sync word on the CRT.
MultipleWhen MULTIPLEi s pushed, WAVEFORM,VECTOR,andSCH
(OptionSC only) can be selected at the same time.
When exiting MULTIPLE,the instrument will return to the
previous (non-MULTIPLE)DISPLAYsettings. When entering
MULTIPLE again, the previous MULTIPLE displaysettings will
be restored.
