Filter MenuThe FILTER menu is available for WAVEFORMmode only.
Note that the instrumentmust be in WAVEFORM mode to ac-
cess the R--Ydisplays. When the FILTER button is pushed in
WAVEFORMmode, an on-screen menu allows the following
selections. Thebe zel buttons are self-cancelling.
HFLAT — providesflat (normal) response.
HLUM — provides a low-pass response to display t he
luminance portion of the composite video signal.
HCHROM — provides bandpass response centered on
the chrominance subcarrier frequency, and displays
frequencies around the subcarrier freque ncy.
HDIFF — is a differentiated step filter(linearity steps
are translated into impulses for amplitude compari-
son).
HR--Y— selects demodul ated chrominance-versus-
time display. The chrominance is demodulated on
the R--Y (V)axis when burst is lined up on the
normal axis. The VECTOR PHASE control c an adjust
the demodulator phase to any axis.
HSCHR--Y(OptionSCOnly)—demodulatesthe SCH
sync-lockedoscillator. This display is useful for
viewing SCHvariations versus time.
HF+L—displays the video signal both flat and
luminance filtered. The display is in parade or
overlay mode, as selected through the on-screen
menu. When PARAD E is selected, the flat displayis
on the left.
HF+L+C—displaysthe video signalflat, lumi-
nance filtered, andchrominance filtered. The signal
is displayed in parade or overlay mode, as select ed
through the on-screen menu. When PA RADE is
selected, the flat displayis on the left, with the
chrominance-filtereddisplay on the right.
