Operación del modo de asar

Cuando desee conservar la grasa de la carne, use el modo Roast (Asar) para asado abierto convencional.

El modo Roast es excelente para asar ave o carnes en general que sean menos tiernas cuando éstas se preparan estofadas o cuando se usan recipientes cubiertos.

Use una fuente para asar de lados altos o cubra el recipiente con una tapa o con papel de aluminio.

Éste se puede usar para asar carnes, aves y verduras, los cuales se debieran cubrir o cocinar en un asador abierto de lados altos.

Agregue líquidos tales como agua, jugo, vino, caldo o consomé para darles sabor y evitar que se sequen.

Usar bolsas para asar es adecuado en este modo.

Cuando ase pollos o pavos enteros, sujete las alas hacia atrás y ate holgadamente las patas con cordel de cocina.

Para ajustar el modo Roast:

1.Para hornos dobles, seleccione UPPER OVEN ó LOWER OVEN

(Horno superior ó horno inferior).

2 . Seleccione ROAST.

La temperatura se ajusta automáticamente en 350°F. Aparece un mensaje en la pantalla:

Select Roast temperature then touch START

(Seleccione la temperatura para asar, luego presione START [inicio] )

3 . Para cambiar la temperatura:

Para cambiar la temperatura de 350°F, seleccione otra temperatura inmediatamente antes de comenzar.

4. Seleccione START.

La pantalla de temperatura va desde la temperatura establecida a la real, comenzando con 100ºF. La temperatura real se incrementa en intervalos de 5ºF.

Cuando escuche un bip, el horno ya estará precalentado. PREHEAT (PRECALENTAR) desaparece de la pantalla.

5 . Para finalizar este modo, seleccione OVEN.
