Standard Features - Server Fax

Quick Pathway

¾Select [Features] on the control panel.

¾If necessary select [All Services].

¾Select [Fax].

¾Select the features available on the first Fax screen.

The first Fax screen offers access to the features required to send a fax. For more information about the features available refer to the following:

Dialing - page 4-51

Resolution

The resolution affects the appearance of the fax at the receiving fax terminal. A higher resolution yields better quality for photos. A lower resolution reduces communication time.

Standard (200 x 100 dpi) recommended for text documents. It requires less communication time, but does not produce the best image quality for graphics and photos.

Fine (200 x 200 dpi) this is the default resolution and the best choice in most cases.
