Capabilities

(Opt 001)

This section gives an overview of the basic techniques used to program the Phase-Lock option (option 001). This section is only an overview and does not give all of the details you will need to write your own application programs. Refer to “Application Program Examples,” later in this chapter for more details and examples. Also refer to the programming reference manual that came with your computer for details on outputting command strings and entering data.

To Phase Lock to an External Clock Signal (requires Option 001)

APPL:SIN 10E+6, 5.0

Select sine function at 10 MHz

PHAS:ADJ

-90 DEG

Set phase offset to -90 degrees

PHAS:REF
