Reassembly
1 If installing a
replacement hard
drive, transfer the
following:
• hard drive bracket
• 2 T10 bracket screws
922-9136
• 2 T10 screw pins
922-7001
2 Note: Each hard drive
vendor has a unique
sensor cable. Do not
mix and match temp
sensor cables.
3 Important: When
installing a Western
Digital drive:
• orient drive with
circuit board facing
up (as shown)
• connect temp sensor
cable to hard drive
pins, leaving 2 left
pins unconnected
and the gray wire on
sensor cable installed
in the “up” orientation.
If sensor cable is
installed incorrectly
the hard drive fan will
run at full speed.
